Hey everybody well we just got finished with our scrapbooks and there was this fugley pic of me when maggie pulled my shirt. I will show it to you if you ask and we got bored so we asked to go and blog well here i am.

We went to the moore library and did job statuses where you got to choose a position in the library and do that with the employee well i gotta go

2nd Day: Medline

Medline is a database of medical health information. You can look up all different types off information on different deceases and watch videos on surgical procedures. The videos are about an hour long and I am guessing are quite gruesome but may be fun to watch anyways. I can't wait to go look it up at a different time or when I get back home. I wanna look at the teen health page as well. That seems like is holds a lot of information that could be valuable in the near future. Like college or somthing.

Today was a little better than yesterday. What happened today is that at first we went to the library of the blind, then we went to memorial museum where we learned about the bombing, and third, we went to the Health Sciences library.

today we had a really fun time!!! first we went to the library for the blind!!, and seen how and why they made the books on tape for the blind so they can hear stories too!! next we went to the memorial institute for the prevention of trrorism. there we seen why and how they prevented terrorists from attacking!!! we also seen the rest of the rubble and things found when it happened!!!! next we went to this one ou medical center and they had a lot of neat things from a long time ago!!! and i always have liked old things!! so that was the funnest part!!! well this is the end again be back tomorro!!!

howdy everyone, today was so cool
it was fun when we went to the library for the blind, because we got to see how the blind reads and how they do daily stuff
the one that really got to me was the memorial institute for the prevention of terrorism, i almost cried because i always get like that when i know that someone caused another person to die like that...then we went to eat at the ou health science center, then we got to see alot of old books and journals...now we r blogging YEA, jk jk
but i cant wait to go to the moore library, because that is my home library!!!!!

Day 2

Today we went to the Library for the blind and physically handicapped. It was really interesting and there were thousands of tapes. After that, we went to the Moore public library, took a tour, then did job shadowing. I was in the children's department, and I got to check in new books. After that, we went to the Warren Theater Diner. It was really yummy, and the theater was AMAZING!!!!!!!!! Then we went back to the library and did wiki. we created a wikipedia account and found out how to edit the pages. Today was really fun. I cant wait for tomorrow.

okay 2day was really fun!! first we went 2 the Library for the Blind and Disabled..then we went to the Memorial Institute for the Prevention of Terrorism.. that was really interesting but really sad all at the same time! i had no idea there was even a terrorist attack in Oklahoma city! but I'm glad i found out.. lunch was really really good! and we also went 2 the OU Health Sciences Center.. it was okay but not my favorite...

Hey, Today is the second day, and we went to the Library for the Blind and Handicaped then afterwards we went to the Moore Library and I got to shadow a librarian. It was so much fun, and afterwards we went to lucnh at the Warren Theatere Diner which was really good and really cool. lol :)
After lunch we went back to the Moore Library and learned about Wikiapedia which was fun too. Well I've got nothing more to say right now so cya!!! :)

Second Day of IMC

Today, we've gone to several libraries across Oklahoma City. After breakfast we went to a library for the blind and visually imapared. There they audio books with extensive recordings amd even a typewriter for the blind. Later we traveled to the Oklahoma City Bombing Memorial and toured their exhibit and library. The last special library we went to was a Medical library open to the public. I'm really glad I had the oppurtunity to particpate in all the activities we've had today.

Day 2

Today waz sooo cool!!!!!!!!! We got to go to the Medical library at OU. I liked the models that we saw. Did anyone figure out what waz wrong w/ the portrait??? I waz branded a nerd because I explained the difference between A genetic and viral disease in big words..... I enarly cried at the Memorial we went to aren't the little shoes soo sad to look at???? I thought the view from the suvivor tree area waz soo cool it is soo preety but in a haumntiung way. Bye 4 now!!!!

this is the second day at IMC were we have visted alot of librarys today and they have been excelent to see. There is a fairly activiteie to do but they are easy if you look closely.

whats up, this is my first post so im excited.anyways today was really fun we went to library for the blind, that was awsome. and the memorial (i hope i spelled that right) that was sad but very benificial.I think that knowing the past tells you what some people can be like rather good or bad.

2nd Day of IMC and more of the 1st Day

OK, well more from yesterday. We also went to the capitol which I had seen before but we got to see the Senate Chamber which was rather interesting. The compact shelving in the library at the capitol building you had to move apart manually. It wasn't hard. Rather fun...not that I did do that or anything, but if I had. :) We also went to the State Library which I didn't really like. Most of there stuff isn't open to the public and since I don't want to work for the government (Like that that is) I will never see that information so why should I care?

Today we went to the Library for the Blind. The Braille books were interesting, and fun to touch and look at. I would have liked them better if I could read them. But fortunately I am not blind so I don't need to restrict myself to dots on pages. Then we went to the bombing memorial from 1995. I cried. Yes, I did. It was sad. 19 kids won't grow up to become lawyers or doctors or engineers. So that was depressing. We also went to the OU medical library. I got to see a book that was over 400 years old. That made me happy. They had a little hunt for us that was fun to figure out and do. Then we looked at the painting of the founder of the library. Find out what is wrong with his picture and you get a cookie. (not really).

Can't wait till tomorrow!!! It will be fun.

So Day 2 has come and past and there wasn't anything too exciting today, although We saw another Archive at the Murrah Building Bomb site memorial Which was really cool because we saw a lot of things from the site itself and things the people had left behind for the victims and Deceased. It's great just to tell everyone about this camp and what we are doing here.

2nd day of camp

Today we went to see several public libraries. It was fun being able to talk to the librarians at Moore Library. We went to eat at some place by a movie theater. The camp has so far been just as fun as last year.
